Die allj\u00e4hrlich mehrt\u00e4gige Fachausstellung FEHOVA in Budapest (FE – fegyver, „Gewehr“, HO – „horg\u00e1sz, „Angeln“, VA – vad\u00e1sz „Jagd“) fand 2010 zusammen mit dem Equifest, der Pferdfach- ausstellung, statt.
\nAuch die Jagdhundzeitschrift, „A Vad\u00e1szkutya“ (Der Jagdhund) hatte dort einen Stand und bot allen Interessierten an 3 Tagen die M\u00f6glichkeit, die verschiedenen Jagdhundrassen live zu sehen, wichtige Informationen \u00fcber sie zu erfahren und sie hautnah beim \u201ajagen\u2019 zu erleben.
\nIm Programm standen auch kleine Coursings, die von der MATOE, des staatlich anerkannten Magyar Agar Zuchtvereins und der OAE organisiert wurden. So hatten auch viele Zuschauer die einmalige Gelegenheit, den Magyar Agar live bei der \u201aArbeit\u2019 zu bewundern. <\/p>\n
In Ungarn (und fast ganz Europa) ist die Jagd mit Windhunden zur Zeit nicht erlaubt. Die J\u00e4gerschaft ist nicht sehr gut auf Windhunde zu sprechen, ja oftmals wurden sie und deren Besitzer \u00f6ffentlich beschimpft. Grund daf\u00fcr waren die vielen illegalen, unethischen Jagden auf meist zu junge oder tr\u00e4chtige Hasen.
\nDer OAE und der MATOE haben es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Reputation der Windhunde bei der J\u00e4gerschaft unter anderem auf diesem Weg der Pr\u00e4sentation wieder herzustellen und die M\u00f6glichkeit dieser uralten, traditionenellen Jagd mit dem ungarischen Windhund, dem Magyar Agar, wieder popul\u00e4r und f\u00fcr die J\u00e4gerschaft akzeptabel zu machen.
\nSie sind auf dem besten Weg dazu: \u201a In diesem jahr hat keiner uns Windhundleute beschimpft und es herrschte gute Laune. Viele Leute haben unsere Hunde bewundert, gestreichelt, gelobt. Dar\u00fcber sind wir sehr gl\u00fccklich.\u2019<\/p>\n
This year the FEHOVA exhibition in Budapest (FE – fegyver, „gun“, HO – „horg\u00e1sz, „fishing“, VA – vad\u00e1sz „hunt“) took place together with the Equestrian Trade Show. Besides the numerous exihibitors and visitors, also the special interest magazine „A Vad\u00e1szkutya“ (Hound\/Sighthound) hat a stand where to get all information on the serveral breeds, to have a realistic experience of their behaviour and to watch them in daily lives. In Hungary (almost all-around Euope) the official hunt with sighthounds is not allowed. Hunting fraternity do not look on the sighthound owners favourably: in the past years, poaching and unethical hunt let the sighthounds and their owners appear in a bad light.
