Schnee, endlich richtig Schnee!

Und die Hunde können es gar nicht erwarten, sie toben und flitzen, wälzen sich im Schnee und sind anschliessend – gottseidank – richtig müde! Auch Afera und Bijou, Conny’s Mädels, haben den Schnee in vollen Zügen genossen. Vor allem Bijou-fast-schon-Magyar-Agar. Die gibt wirklich Gas und ehrlich gesagt hab ich noch nie einen Azawakh so leidenschaftlich-intensiv coursen gesehen wie sie. Echt toll!

The dogs can’t await to get outside and join the new, deep snow. They run and hunt, wallow in the snow – can’t get enough – and are very relaxed and tired afterwards! At the same time I got some pictures from our friends Afera and Bijou, Conny’s girls. They as well enjoyed the snow to the full. To be honest, I never saw an Azawakh like Bijou running and hunting with this intensity and passion! She is really great!

Int. Schnee Coursing Neustift (A)
Dieses Schneecoursing wurde heuer bereits zum vierten Mal ausgetragen, zum zweiten Mal mit Magyar Agar – Beteiligung. Leider waren heuer nur 6 Hunde gemeldet, aber das tat der guten Laune und vor allem der Wiedersehensfreude mit vielen Freunden und Bekannten keinen Abbruch.
Letzendlich waren nur 5 Magyar Agar am Start und wie es sooft ist beim Coursing, jeder der 6 Richter hatte eine andere Meinung über die Läufe, sodass die Reihung nach dem 2ten Durchgang komplett anders aussah, als im Vorlauf. Wir trugen es mit Fassung und feierten unsen ‚neuen’ und ‚alten’ Sieger Kiraai, freuten uns über verletzungsfreie Läufe und ein schönes Wochenende im Stubaital. Und als Draufgabe wurde Nookie noch Tagessieger bei den Hündinnen.
Danke an all unser Freunde, es war schön, dass ihr dabei wart!

This coursing on snow in 2010 took place the 4th time, 2th time with participation of magyar agar . It was a pitty that only 6 dogs were entered, but nevertheless we had great fun and enjoyed to meet ‘old’ friends again.
Only 5 magyar agars were brought to the start and, as often at coursings, the judges had very differing meanings of the several runs. The placements of the first run was completly turned around in the second course. We kept our countenance and celebrated our ‘new’ and ‘old’ winner Kiraai, happily there were no, injuries and so we joined a wonderful weeking in Stubai Valley. And by the way, Nookie got ‘highscore of the day‘ at the bitches.

Int. Schnee Coursing Galtür
Den Samstag haben wir gemeinsam mit einigen unserer Freunde beim Coursing in Galtür verbracht. Bei herrlichem Winterwetter, jedoch eisiger Kälte, hatten Fenyves und Csoda viel Spass auf dem grosszügigen Gelände, Nookie begleitete Afera bei ihrem abschliessenden Lizenzlauf. Herzliche Gratulation zur bestandenen Coursing-Lizenz, Afera!
This saturday, we joined our friends in Galtür at the snow coursing. Althoug it was perfect weather the temperatures were under 12 degrees Celsus, but this didnt matter in no way: Fenyves and Csoda enjoyed running on the wide area, Nookie accompagnied Afera on the last licence-run. Congratulations to Afera, she managed the licence-runs in perfect manner and without any doubts!

Ratpack auf Tour
So oft wir Zeit haben, machen wir Bergtouren, im Sommer und noch viel lieber im Winter. Das ist nicht nur gut für unsere Kondition und die der Hunde, sondern macht auch sehr viel Spass. Und in der Stille der Natur kann man herrlich abschalten und den Alltag mal für ein paar Stunden vergessen.

As often as we got time we try to spend it with long hiking tours in the Alps. This, we like in summer, but as well at winter time. It is not only a good fitness training for my dogs and me, it is also big fun! And the great oudoors around offer to get away from workaday life and to relax for some hours in absolute silence.
